Toppik Hair Building Fibres are made of natural, coloured keratin fibres - the same protein that makes up human hair. Kind on hair, the keratin protein used in Toppik is derived from a natural source and is nearly identical to human hair.
Toppik Hair Building Fibres are resistant to wind, rain, and even perspiration. They will wash out with shampoo.
Toppik Hair Building Fibres themselves do not help nor hinder hair growth. They are aesthetic products that work through changing the visual appearance of your hair.
Toppik Hair Building Fibres will stay in place until you wash your hair with shampoo. Toppik Fibrehold Spray, a fine mist spray designed to strengthen the bond between Toppik Hair Building Fibres and your existing hair, can be used post-fibres application to provide extra confidence in lasting hold throughout the day.
Toppik Hair Building Fibres are available in a range of natural colours and come from a wool source giving them a natural appearance along with a static charge for bonding to your hair. Toppik Hair Building Fibres look natural and feel completely organic.

Applying gels, mousses, pastes, serums etc. after applying Hair Fibres may cause shifting and could expose the areas that were meant to be covered. Let styling products dry before applying Hair Fibres.

Problems with Toppik Hair Building Fibres?
Toppik Hair Building Fibres move when too many fibres are applied. When the fibres are applied to the scalp, the keratin protein forms a bond with the hair strand locking them in place. If there are too many fibres and the hair is too thin, then there is very little the fibres can bond with. Excess fibres with no-where to bond to will move freely.
This can be alleviated in two ways; the first method is by simply using less Toppik Hair Building Fibres.
The second and more efficient method is by using the Toppik Fibrehold Spray. When hair is quite thin, Toppik Fibrehold Spray helps keeps the fibres in place, working as a sort of static based glue.

The Toppik Hair Building Fibre clumping is usually due to applying the fibres on wet or overly greasy hair. Your hair is a lot more stable when it is dry as it expands when it is wet. Toppik Hair Building Fibres were scientifically developed for dry hair. When your hair is wet and expanded, the Toppik Hair Building Fibres will still join to the hair follicle, but as the hair follicle dries it begins to contract and become smaller due to the water dissolving from within the follicle. Although it is not enough for you to notice it is enough to really put pressure on the keratin bonds. This will quite literally snap the Toppik Hair Building Fibres, as there are too many bonds in a small space and no-where for the Toppik Hair Building Fibres to retain their individual bonds.
This is not the case when you place Toppik Hair Building Fibres on dry hair, as even if it were to get wet in the future it would expand with the bonds already in place before contracting and not affecting the bonds overall integrity. If purchasing Toppik from Amazon or Ebay always check that the seller is a verified Toppik distributor. Counterfeit offerings could be produced from alternative materials such as cotton, rayon or plant based materials which will not be as effective as genuine Toppik Hair Building Fibres.

Bathroom condensation can cause the Toppik Spray Applicator to become jammed.
To unblock your applicator:
1. Rinse it through with some lukewarm water allowing it to dry (at room temperature) before your next use.
2. If this first step was not enough to unblock the clogged shaft then try purchasing a pipe cleaner and gently inserting it through the shaft of the applicator, to clean any residue off the inner walls. Once you have used the pipe cleaner, soak the applicator in lukewarm water once again and allow it to dry fully before your next use.

The best way to combat this is by simply moving the Toppik Spray Applicator out of the bathroom or into a cabinet. This eliminates the whole condensation problem and allows the Toppik Spray Applicator to run smoothly.
